is an amazing resource for local artists and crafters, and I’m so excited to be a part of their annual Field Day this year. The event is on August 27th at the Walker Arts Center, and activities will be mainly held in the Bazinet lobby, greenspace, and Sculpture Garden. The festivities begin at 11Am and go until 10PM. There will be a screenprinting workshop with Calpurnia Peach, kickball and other games in the greenspace, puppet shows and kids activities at the FlatPak house, an artist’s mall in the lobby, literature and poetry reading by Geoff Herbach and Andy Sturtevant, and even a kid-friendly dance. There will also be a special performance by Minneapolis’s own Solid Gold starting at 8:30,  so you can dance the night away.  And the best part? The event is TOTALLY FREE. Come visit me rom 6PM to 8PM at the .org mall in the Bazinet lobby – everyone that comes down gets a free Craftease sticker and a coupon for 20% off their next order! Come down and check out the Field Day festivities, it’s going to be a rockin’ good time!
